20 Hidden Gem Black Films on Netflix Right Now

Netflix can be like a fridge: There can be plenty of food in it, but it’s still difficult to decide on what to eat, which leads to endlessly opening and closing the door. Well, we wanted to help stop that incessant loop of searching—at least for this evening. Here, we’ve compiled a list of fantastic Black films; not the Black films we all know and love, but the ones that have slipped under our radars. I have to give it to Netflix, they do a decent job of arranging the list of the gems we already know, but that’s easy. The list below are movies that we’ve happened to stumble upon or were told about its greatness in passing—and we were able to validate it by watching.
